1. How much will the service cost?

All our services are contracted on a case-by-case basis. As such, please contact Green Stepping Stone for pricing and availability.

An initial consult is free; this moment is for you to decide whether the assistance of Green Stepping Stone will be beneficial, and for us to get familiar with your plans.

The cost is modest, but we can’t give you fixed numbers here (except for the Autónomo grant in Spain). The hourly rate or over-all project cost will be based on the services requested, the type and budget of your organisation and the project. This rate will be agreed upon during the initial consult. A grant applicant normally includes a small upfront fee and a commission percentage of the approved budget.

Our own background stems from the non-profit charitable world and we share the same mentality as the organisations Green Stepping Stone wants to assist, dedicated to making the world a better place. Therefore we have special understandings for organisations that do much for many with little means.

To reduce the total costs of service we encourage you to deliver as much information on forehand as possible.

2. Who will pay for this service?

We put our services into the budget to get funding for from a donor. Still it does happen that funding sources do not allow grant funds to pay for grant writing. In that case they often do allow adding program evaluation, training and other technical assistance to the budget, under which our service can fall.

When the funding is not granted (either in total or only for our fee), the fee will have to come from your organisation’s operational budget or fundraising. So do keep in mind that payment is not contingent upon receipt of the grant and there are no guarantees that you’ll receive a favourable funding response.

3. What is your cancellation policy?

To avoid unserious applicants, we request an upfront deposit before we actually start, which is non-refundable when you decide to step out without a valid reason.
